Blogger Friend School Assignment #17 {Wall of Prayer}

This week's assignment (read it in its entirety at The Kings Kreation/Nancy's Nook)  is to go to the Wall of Prayer and either list someone to pray for or just pledge to pray for anyone or any family...especially for WIVES and FAMILY MEMBERS of service people.  Just imagine the wonderful circle of prayer that we all can be part of.  Leave your favorite verse of scripture or favorite chapter from the Bible too, please.

I am not posting names on the Wall of Prayer, but I did visit the website.  Our family prays for our military every day, and specifically for some servicemen we know from church, and for their families:

G. Barnes - Navy; C. Boone - Navy; R. Eyler - Army; J. Merchant - Army

I also pray specifically for a dear online friend whose husband is serving overseas:

Stefanie recently gave birth to their second child, and her husband Kevin is really looking forward to getting home and meeting (in person) his newest princess. He's talked to her on the phone already.

I am so thankful, every day, for the men and women who serve and for their families at home that manage without them for months at a time.  It's a life and a sacrifice that I really can't imagine.  We pray God's hand of protection and His richest blessings on all of them.  I pray that those who already know the LORD would be able to encourage those they serve with to know Him as well.

The angel of the LORD encamps around those who fear him, and he delivers them. ~ Psalm 34:7

Like cold water to a weary soul is good news from a distant land. ~ Proverbs 25:25

Thanks for stopping by and leaving me a note. I'm sorry I haven't checked in here in awhile! Looks like you all are doing well. I love the pics of the boys' hair! Cute! My youngest son would LOVE to have a mohawk. :)
