Think Back Thursday: Togetherness

This week our theme for Think Back Thursday is Togetherness, which is a highlight of the holiday season for many of us.  We don't live near my extended family at all, so our "togetherness" is a little limited. And I've found that it's been many years since I took a lot of pictures.  I guess there's just too much going on Christmas morning when we're together with my husband's family for me to think about the camera.  But we've only had a Christmas celebration with my side of the family once since we've had kids, so that year I made sure to take pictures!

In 2007, we went to Alberta at the end of November and called it
Christmas when we had the whole family together.  Mom even had a small Christmas tree up, which they normally don't do until later in December. We had Christmas dinner and exchanged some gifts. This was the most recent time all the cousins were together.  Since then another nephew/cousin has been added to the family, and we haven't even met him!

Here are Kennady and her two cousins in their Christmas nightgowns.  My aunts make each of the little girls a Christmas nightgown each year.

This was what our family looked like on the Sunday morning closest to "Christmas".  I think we look a little tired, but at least no one was making a goofy face.  We needed to leave for church, so I think we just decided to be satisfied with this picture rather than try for some smiles!

This wasn't a Christmas get-together, but this is the most recent family picture that includes our whole family and my mom and dad.  This was taken in the fall of 2011.

Great photos. It is nice to get together with extended family. Love that your aunts make the girls matching nightgowns for Christmas each year, what fun!

Some of my family I have not seen for a long time. My brother, niece and neice's daughter are supposed to come visit the PA/DE family this spring. I have not seen them for years.

God Bless, have a great week, hope to "see" you Monday for Goal Planning Monday. Thanks for joining my meme.
