Goal Planning Monday: February 4th, 2013

Teach us to number our days aright, that we may gain a heart of wisdom. ~Psalm 90:12~

Some things got done, and others didn't.  Last week was busy, but on the days I had time at home, I worked towards the goals even if I didn't finish everything I'd planned on.
  1. Continue cleaning and organizing the kitchen. Progress. I didn't finish everything, but I worked on the 52-week challenge.
  2. Co-op lessons and schoolwork. Done. At least the stuff for last week.  I just realized I still have someone's Language Arts on my desk to grade though.  LOL
  3. Baking and meal planning. Partly done. No baking last week, except for the brownies that Kennady made.  I didn't bake bread at all!
  4. Blog goals... progress. I would have liked to get more done last week, but just couldn't pull it off.
  5. Personal study and reading. Done!  Well... except for the tax course, I didn't really work on that much at all.
  6. Move furniture and stuff in the basement. Progress. By which I mean I cleaned out the stuff in Harrison's room that I needed to look after.  And that's about all we did.  Even on Saturday, we did nothing down there.
  7. This week's errands and to-do list: complete.
Is it Monday again? Already?
  1. Finish organizing the kitchen. Or at least finish the stuff on the list for the challenge.
  2. Co-op lessons and schoolwork. I get a little break after this week's co-op lesson, because another mom will be doing the lead teaching the next week or two.
  3. Baking and meal planning. Must bake bread this week.
  4. Blog goals... Even though I didn't get as much done as I'd hoped last week, I got a start on several things, so I'm hoping to keep some momentum and get into a regular routine again.
  5. Personal study and reading. It's the tax course I am struggling to keep current in this category.  Guess I'll need to set aside a time to work on it "no matter what"
  6. Work on reorganizing the stuff in the basement.  I don't even know where to start.  But I'll have to pick a spot and get started.
  7. This week's errands and to-do list includes: the usual stuff plus a visit to the orthopedist to see how Spencer's ankle is coming along.

I need to bake bread, too. I am planning pea soup tomorrow, so maybe in the morning.

Sometime I have to be really specific in my goals to get them done. Instead of "study" I need to write do "lecture x of so and so class" because otherwise it just won't get done. I hope that you move ahead in this regards this week.

Have a great week, and I'll see you next monday.

Progress... yes, this I understand. This has been an interesting week for me. I have not felt motivated to do much of anything. Things on to-do lists just keep getting transfered to the next day. Today is going well so far. Tomorrow is Monday again already!!

Here's hoping you made more progress or even got some things marked off you list. God bless and "see you" tomorrow.
