Think Back Thursday: Landscape

For this week's Think Back Thursday, I am sharing some landscape pictures from our trip to Alberta in November of 2007. We spent a day at Banff National Park. On the way, we stopped briefly at the MacDougall Church near Cochrane.

We took the Norquay drive (Norquay is a ski area), and on the way we stopped and saw this view of the town of Banff.

This is Bow Falls and some of the views from there.

We even took our family Christmas card picture there - it was a perfect backdrop!

This view is from Tunnel Mountain, where there is a campground that my family stayed at a LOT when I was growing up.

This picture is from Tunnel Mountain as well, and although it's a bit hazy, you can see the hoodoos, which are stone formations.

We also went to Cave and Basin, where we saw views like these:

We tried a family photo at Cave and Basin too, but some of the natives were pretty restless (and very cold!) by then, so we didn't look too happy.

Love those mountain pictures. My family has never been a vacation in the mountain type of family. Great photos! Beautiful creation God made for us to enjoy. Thanks for linking up to my meme.
