Wordless Wednesday - The Moon

This Wordless Wednesday post will not be wordless. Going completely wordless is hard for me.

Did you watch the lunar eclipse on Sunday night? Or did you try, like we did, only to be thwarted by the clouds? Right when partial stage began, the huge black cloud of doom rolled in front of the moon and parked itself there until about mid-eclipse. So we had some views of the second half of the event, for which I was grateful, but of course getting photos wasn't much of a possibility. As in, this was the best I could manage.

Most of time, our view of the supermoon was pretty much this:

HAHAHA!! I'm not kidding.

So I am including a picture of the moon that I took a couple years ago.

Praise him, sun and moon,
praise him, all you shining stars!
Praise him, you highest heavens,
and you waters above the heavens!
Let them praise the name of the LORD!
For he commanded and they were created.
And he established them forever and ever,
he gave a decree, and it shall not pass away.
~Psalm 148:3-6~

That is a bummer that you ended up with clouds. I saw a lot of people commenting the same thing. We were fortunate to actually get to see the eclipse this time.
Love your pic from the past though.
Happy Wordless Wednesday

We had clouds here too but you did get some pretty night sky shots anyway.

Yeah, we tried. The moon played hide and seek behind the clouds here, too. But I DID manage to get a couple almost-decent photos...which you can see on my Wordless Wednesday. :) Thanks for linking up!
