Welcome to the Virtual Refrigerator art link-up! Thank you for joining us as we share what we're creating in our homeschools. We cordially invite you to add your link sharing artwork that's on your Virtual Refrigerator and then hop over to the other blogs and admire what's on their Fridges too! The Virtual Fridge link-up is open all month, with anchor posts planned for each Wednesday.

Months ago, on a visit to IKEA, Kennady noticed they had wooden artist's figures and decided she wanted one. Not only would it be a neat decor item on her desk, but of course these figures are intended to provide a model for drawing human figures. She thought about it, and on our next visit she bought herself one. Now the IKEA ones are not as pose-able as she'd hoped, but still fun.

And it didn't take long before she decided to paint the figure as Scarlet Witch (a character from Marvel Comics, if you're like me and couldn't place it).

I'm thinking a new artist's figure with a wider range of motion might be fun.

Anyway. Glad the Fridge is Virtual, because a regular magnet wouldn't work for this!

(Also, sorry it's late!)

She did a great job; I was thinking of a cross between the witch trials and the scarlet letter at first but then your reminder that she's a marvel figure helped.

I like how she painted that. I could see having one and building little outfits for it and changing them all the time. :)

I love comments! It's like visiting over a virtual cup of coffee.
