I hope my daughter fits the dress next winter.. I have shoulder seams and sleeves to do, and then the neck line finishing.. how silly that I can't just get'er done. One thing that's holding me back is I don't have DPN's in the right size..lolMoreLittleWilsonsnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6915118192002933969.post-66111803850785374862008-04-18T12:47:33.000-04:002008-04-18T12:47:33.000-04:00Sounds like fun! I learned to knit for the first time when I was pregnant with my first son after 2 miscarriages and had problems prompting the doctor to tell me to stay off my feet for 6 months. Don't be afraid to try the complicated looking blanket patterns. Once you can do the basic stitches, (is that what they call them?) the pattern makers can string them together into sequences that come out really beautiful and complicated looking. I really amazed myself! Of course, my first baby blanket turned out big enough to cover my own bed, I was so new at knowing how to size my stitches.....ha. But it was beautiful!

Have fun!!

bethanyraebethanyraenoreply@blogger.com
