Teach us to number our days aright, that we may gain a heart of wisdom. ~Psalm 90:12~
My mom and dad are here visiting so I will be limiting my computer time, and my to-do list! During this first week...
- Enjoy spending time with Mom and Dad. Done!
- Do the basics with school so we don't get behind. Done!
- Keep the house tidy. Done, sort of.
- Be grateful for Mom's help in the kitchen and with the sewing. Done!
- Double check emergency supplies to make sure we have what we need. I might need to get more batteries, and we're putting aside additional water supplies today. Past experience tells me we're unlikely to need it, but it's better to be prepared!
- Enjoy spending time with Mom and Dad. Even if it's playing card games by lamplight. LOL
- Do the basics with school so we don't get behind.
- Keep the house tidy.
- Be grateful for Mom's help in the kitchen and with the sewing.
- Help the kids figure out costumes IF we have our Trunk or Treat activity.
- This week's errands and to-do list: choir and church activities are likely to be cancelled. After today, I don't think we'll have many places we'll need to go until Friday when my parents are planning to catch the train home.

I too have few goals because we are right in Sandy's path in northern Delaware. I didn't get much done last week because my daughters got home from a 3 week trip to Texas and then after spending time with them we had to start prepping for the hurricane. Enjoy your parents visit, stay safe, God Bless.
I really enjoyed reading this post. Praying that your family stays safe. Yea! For spending time with mom and dad. Thank you for sharing.
