Think Back Thursday: Benches

This week's theme to think back on is Benches - with or without people on them.  Having just got back from vacation, I made this easy on myself by going to the first old album I could think of that might have pictures of benches.  That was a vacation in 2006.

We finally visited the World of Coca-Cola in Atlanta, Georgia. Somebody there helped us out by getting our family picture on the bench in front of the soda shoppe inside.  With six people on it, you can hardly see the bench, but it's there!  If Harrison had looked a little happier, that might have been our Christmas card picture that year.

Later on that vacation, we had dinner at the Bubba Gump Shrimp Company in Orlando, Florida.  In front of the restaurant, they had a photo op set up with a bench, suitcase and box of chocolates just like in the movie Forrest Gump.

Harrison Gump
Spencer Gump
Kennady Gump
Kennady wasn't finished in the spotlight, apparently. LOL
DH clearly did the best job of the Forrest Gump pose.
Oh yes, and we did visit Disney World on that trip.  Which leads me to what might be my favorite bench picture - this was Kennady after the first day spent at the Magic Kingdom, while waiting for the ferry.

Visit Debbie's Digest to join in with Think Back Thursday, and to see what other bloggers are sharing for this week's theme.  Next week's theme will be Closeup, and the following weeks will be Back to School, and Relaxing/Peaceful.

Think Back Thursday is a photo meme that encourages sharing something from the past.  It is hosted by Debbie's Digest.  You can find out more about it, and how you can participate, by clicking the link or the button below.

My favorite picture from all those you posted for benches is the one of your daughter Kennady so tired and leaning on daddy's knee while waiting for the ferry.

Love the whole family on the bench at the World of Coca-Cola. It has been a while since I saw Forest Gump but I love the photos. I wish I had a box of chocolates!!!

Thanks for sharing and joining up.

I love comments! It's like visiting over a virtual cup of coffee.
