Scripture and a Snapshot - January 27, 2013

"Come now, let us reason together," says the LORD. "Though your sins are like scarlet; they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool."
~Isaiah 1:18~

The fresh beauty of a bright blue sky and new fallen snow reminds me of this verse. This picture was taken almost three years ago, when we had a lot more snow than we do right now. But we did get a bit of snow this week, and a reminder of how good it is to be white and clean instead of grey and dirty.

Scripture and Snapshot

Scripture and a Snapshot is hosted by A Glimpse of Our Life.

I always love seeing the pairing of snow images with that verse...seeing such a tangible example of that truth :-)

"As white as snow" is an awesome promise; so dirty covered by His forgiveness like that white snow covering over everything.

There just is something so comforting and clean about new snow.

I also wanted to share that I'm nominating you for a Liebster Award. All of the info is posted here - http://www.adventureswithjude.com/2013/01/the-liebster-award.html

Visiting from A Glimpse of Our Life. I love the snow scene. I don't live where it snows anymore - and most of the time I don't miss it - but this shot of yours brings nostalgia. The verse is perfect for it.
