Z is for... Zoology

*This post contains affiliate links*
For the first time in their homeschool experience, Landon and Kennady are doing different science programs. Different, but related. While Landon is doing a full Biology study, Kennady will be studying Zoology. We're taking a slightly different approach to her science from past years as well. Instead of using a textbook or pre-planned curriculum, we will be notebooking our way through The World of Animals from Master Books.

We've done some notebooking before, but I think this will be the first time that we'll be truly 'on our own' with it, as well as relying on it for the complete year. Of course we'll use plenty of other resources as well! In particular, we'll use lessons at Supercharged Science, and I found some things at SchoolhouseTeachers.com too. And I'm sure we'll find lots of interesting things to add along the way.

I suspect Kennady's notebook pages will be liberally decorated with sketches and doodles of animals. Well... the animals she finds attractive anyway. I don't think she'll want to spend any more time than necessary looking at or drawing pictures of worms or spiders. And that's just fine with me!
