We all cordially invite you to add your link sharing the art that's on your Virtual Refrigerator and then hop over to the other blogs and admire what's on their Fridges!
April's Art Challenge: Easter and Nature
Throughout the month of April, we've been interested in artwork that focuses on one of two themes: Easter or Nature! Please continue to share any art posts on our Virtual Fridge as well - we love seeing all of them!
May's Art Challenge: Flowers
Ready to think ahead to next month's theme? We'll be looking for artwork that features Flowers!
I found this artwork from a co-op class quite a few years ago in my archives. To make this, Kennady did a watercolor wash using oranges, pinks, and yellows to look like a sunset. When it was dry, she added a landscape silhouette cut out of black construction paper to the front.
In searching for more ideas like this, I found one blog that suggested doing the watercolor on a coffee filter, which I thought was a great idea!
I found it at Tippytoe Crafts.
