May's Art Challenge: Flowers
Did you have many April showers where you live? In May, we'll be looking for artwork that features Flowers! Please continue to share any art posts on our Virtual Fridge as well - we love seeing all of them!

Kennady has been working on a weather unit study along with her regular science, and one of the assignments was to look at a book showing lots of examples of weathervanes as an American folk art. I wasn't able to find the book through our library system, so we just looked at a google image search of "American folk art weathervanes". I suggested that a vintage weathervane might make a good subject for chalk art, and this is what Kennady came up with.
