Today's July Blogging Challenge really IS a challenge, at least for me. Lynn at This Day Has Great Potential and Jennifer at A Glimpse of Our Life challenged each of us to share "10 Things {I like} About Me". Don't get me wrong - I like lots of things about myself, but listing them and writing about them... that's harder. But I'd also rather share things I do like about myself than things I don't!
- I love to laugh! And I find it easy to find something to laugh about in almost every situation.
- I like my hair. Yeah, I have a lot of bad hair days, but overall I like it. Perhaps the strangest thing about that is this: I am allowing it to go gray, and I like it better this way! I think I get more compliments about my hair as it gets grayer too, and that is also strange, but in a good way, I hope.
- I'm optimistic and hopeful. In general, I believe that things will turn out okay in the end and that the best is yet to come. I do get discouraged and overwhelmed with things too, but I don't stay down for long.
- I'm confident and willing to try things. Well, some things. Not always new foods, and not things that would scare me to death anyway. Example? Sky-diving. I wouldn't try that.
- I have a decent amount of musical ability - I sing and play piano/keyboard, and I love doing that especially as part of leading worship.
- I love to read and to learn, and I like teaching, which comes in handy as a homeschool mom!
- I can think outside the box, tweaking and combining curriculum and resources for our homeschool. I've even developed some unit studies on my own.
- I am loyal and try to be a good friend, helping out where I can.
- I have strong opinions about many things, but I'm usually able to be tactful when disagreements arise. This doesn't come naturally, believe me, and it amazes me every single time I'm told that I'm understanding or diplomatic!
- I'm so thankful for the good relationships I have in my family!

Great list. I too think outside the box with most things.
Skydiving would scare me. It's nice getting to know more about you. Have you sold your unit studies?
