What's New At SchoolhouseTeachers.com

This post contains affiliate links - using affiliate links from Homeschool Coffee Break helps fuel this blog and our homeschool - thank you!

SchoolhouseTeachers.com offers so much, it's hard to believe it could get better, but it just did! The already massive content basically just doubled, because SchoolhouseTeachers.com made a deal with World Book Online which means that members now have access to a full encyclopedia program complete with videos, the ability to create custom timelines, tons of maps, and so much more.

And that is in addition to the 300+ courses for students of all ages and all the record-keeping tools and everything else that's still there.

To celebrate, SchoolhouseTeachers.com is even offering a special price on membership. From now until May 31, 2017, grab a one-year membership for your entire family for just $99 - half the regular price - by using the coupon code SPRINGSAVINGS.

Here's a quick sampling of some of the courses that have caught my eye, just to give an idea of what is available:

My regular readers might have noticed that I've made use of Everyday Easels and Introduction to Architecture frequently. Everyday Easels offers short daily lessons that are inspired by a work of art, and there are all kinds of ways these lessons can be incorporated. Introduction to Architecture is a high school level elective course.

Next year Kennady will be taking French at a co-op, but she could also use the full French course here. We may use it as a supplement.

She expressed an interest in learning more about Archaeology recently, and might want to do that as an elective course. If that's something she does want to pursue, here's a Classical Archaeology course she could do!

I think it's important for high school students to learn about Civics and Government, and I found this high school elective on the Constitution and Bill of Rights.

She's already got lots of Music credits, but I'm wondering about a good Music Theory course. Yes, they have that too. And also History of Western Music.

Or how about some Graphic Design or Image Editing electives?

That's just scratching the surface, and I'm really only looking at high school level stuff!

For a look at all the courses by subject, head to the Quick Links page.

And now there's all the World Book Online resources too! We'll be using that for research starting now.

Coupon code SPRINGSAVINGS is good until May 31, 2017.
