Show & Tell - Parade Day

A couple of weeks ago my younger two marched with their baseball teams in a local Memorial Day Parade.  I managed to get a couple of pictures.

Here's Landon, looking extremely serious:

Guess there's nothing wrong with being serious - Memorial Day is, after all, a solemn occasion; and we were lining up in front of the cemetary at the start of the parade route.  Here they are, just about ready to go:

Parade time!

And this is NOT a brother-sister picture.  I thought this was awfully cute though, Kennady really took to this boy from Landon's team and he was just a little gentleman and didn't seem to mind.  I hope, however that this does not foreshadow a boy-chasing future for my daughter! LOL

This is less cute, I think... Kennady insisted on a picture of me as well.  Turns out I had to walk the parade route with the kids, because not all the coaches could be there.  I think the exercise was good for me, but jeepers it was hot!

(by the way, yes I did smudge the kids shirts.  They usually look much neater than that!)
