Show & Tell - vacation planning flashback

Okay, I've got nothin' for today.  LOL  This week has been quite busy as I shared yesterday, partly because we are getting ready for a short vacation.  So my Show & Tell will be about our plans for the week... We're leaving tomorrow morning and will be camping at a state park near Buffalo, and attending Kingdom Bound at the nearby theme park.  So we are preparing food and doing an inventory of our camping equipment, and tonight I guess we'll start packing the van.

My pictures are from Kingdom Bound 2005...

Hangin' out at the campsite:

H spent plenty of time studying the concert schedule, to make sure that nobody missed anything important:

Yikes, who took a picture of me????

At the park, we could go on the rides (K's favorite was the carousel):

...or attend attend the concerts.  K was quite inspired by the concerts and found an empty mini-stage in one area to give us her own show:

That's L in the background handling air percussion.

And here's L's "inspiration" from that year - our friend's hairstyle.  L has been trying to duplicate this look ever since.

Here is our whole group on the last day:

I can't guarantee, but my plan is to have THIS year's Kingdom Bound pictures for Show and Tell next week!

Oh... and here's what I'm REALLY looking forward to:

Mmmmm....  There's one in Batavia where I can restock!  Some of you will know what I'm talking about.  LOL

Show & Tell is hosted by CanadaGirl - visit her to see the other entries and to participate!

Our 9 yr old went through this last summer. Expressing himself with the spike. We let him do it for 2 1/2 months then it was cut back down. To as we call his military hair style. This year he has asked if he can have it colored, mmmm I don't think so. We have a lot of people whom come from Canada to one of the camp grounds here in Va. Are you up in Canada too?

Thanks for sharing your S&T today,

Debbie

Hi,

Thanks for stopping by my show and tell today.

I added some more "telling" to the post to answer questions asked in my comments. I hope that helps your daughter a bit. Hummers make for a wonderful creation science study topic.

It would be so neat to meet you there and have fun! Camping doesn't seem to be a decidedly definative choice for us lately though. LOL ;)
