Blogger Friend School - Assignment #1 "Meme Style"

How I got started blogging:  To be perfectly honest, it was peer pressure! LOL  One by one the ladies on a homeschool message board I was on were starting blogs here at HSB and encouraging the rest to do the same.  I had never blogged before that, but I figured it might be fun (and instructive) for me to journal online some of what we were doing in school.  I started out just intending to keep a bit of a record of what we did each day, but as time went on I've started doing memes, reading other blogs, and now I view it as another style of "message board" - sort of an online circle letter.

A dream place to blog:  Well if I had a laptop computer, I would be in blog heaven!!! Then I could blog anywhere - and read my emails, and check my message boards...  I am so tied to a desktop that I can't even picture being someplace other than at my desk.  LOL

1.  What time do you usually blog?  Most often in the morning, but that's not a "rule"

2.  What is your favorite drink?  In the morning:  COFFEE.  Any other time of day: Diet Coke

3.  What is your favorite book?  I couldn't choose!!! The Bible is the most important to me, of course, but my "favorites" change almost every time I read one I enjoy.

4.  What is your favorite dessert?  This is hard to choose too.  Chocolate cheesecake?  Coconut Cream Pie?  Rhubarb Pie?  Those are all on the list.

5.  Share a Scripture that has been an inspiration in your growth with Christ.  "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.  Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you."  ~ Jeremiah 29:11-12

I know what you mean about being tied to down to a computer desk. I would LOVE to grab a laptop and go in my room, lock the door and have some quiet time!! btw, we share the same favorite verse!
