D is for... Daughter

Kennady is ten years old.  She is full of energy and fun.  She loves singing, drawing and art, baking, decorating cakes, Disney, stuffed animals, and her cat.  She plays softball and is Daddy's girl.

learning to crochet - she can do it, I can't!

self-portrait (half) in pencil and charcoal - 2010

quilting project - she designed it and did the whole thing by herself

Kennady made a perfect catch of this foul ball at a Carolina League game.

As you can probably tell, she doesn't usually object to having her picture taken! (Unlike my boys, who rarely let me take pictures of them unless they are making a ridiculous face.) I wish I had some of her baby pictures handy to share too, because she was the cutest thing ever. Not that I am biased in any way.  ;-)

What a treasure! I still get misty when I think of three years worth of my sons pictures lost in the computer crash.

What a beautiful daughter you have! They grow up so quickly, don't they? My daughter turns 9 next week and I can hardly believe it.

What a cutie! I love seeing all the projects she has worked on. My daughter loves all kinds of arts and crafts too.

The coffee cup in your blog header/banner is great. I am a big coffee lover...it makes me want to go make myself a latte...but what I really should do is go to bed and look forward to one in the morning. LOL!
