Teach us to number our days aright, that we may gain a heart of wisdom. ~Psalm 90:12~
Despite some set-backs, lots on the schedule, and one whole day lost to running errands, I had a pretty good week!- Clean kitchen cupboards and drawers. Progress! We have a couple of cupboards and the junk drawer left to do, but I've also done a few of the missions listed for this coming week in the 52 Week challenge! (from 52 Weeks to An Organized Home) I notice that the way the declutter missions are laid out, the food/pantry cupboards are done separately from the kitchen cupboards with dishes and pots and pans etc, but the way I've set up my kitchen, some cupboards have both. So I think it all evens out. LOL
- Co-op lesson plans. Progress! I did what I planned on for last week, but I don't want to say this is "done" because I have not fully completed the lesson plans I need for the first two weeks.
- Schoolwork and grading. Almost done. Planning on turning in report cards on Thursday.
- Baking and meal planning. Done! With Kennady's help, I even baked two batches of cookies and baked bread twice.
- Blog goals... Done! Although I wish I had time to comment on more blogs.
- Personal study and reading. Progress. Still having trouble making time (and priority) for my tax prep course.
- Sort out issues with the following: DH's contact lens order (either need to get authorization to reorder with the current Rx or make appointment to get an updated Rx); GameStop order (boys placed an order with their Christmas and birthday money, but the gift certificates didn't show up properly, so I need to fix that); our health insurance and medical bills (need to know what's covered and where we're at so we can plan the rest of Spencer's ankle rehab appointments); and it wouldn't surprise me if there are a few other things like this too. Done!
- This week's errands and to-do list: complete.
- Clean out kitchen cupboards and drawers. Continue with the 52 Week challenge.
- Co-op lesson plans. Polish up my lesson plans for the first two weeks and get things prepped for the later lessons.
- Schoolwork and grading. Report cards need to be completed this week!
- Baking and meal planning. Decided on a new bread recipe I want to try. I plan on baking cookies again this week. I am on the snack list for youth group this week so I need to think of something for that. And hopefully plan dinner menus that won't require me to pick up much from the grocery store other than milk.
- Blog goals... I committed to a guest post that I will start working on, and I'm starting to work on drafts for upcoming cruises and reviews.
- Personal study and reading. I've been doing very well with The One-Year Bible (for fun, added incentive, YouVersion is running a 21-Day Challenge that starts today with prize drawings. All you have to do is read each day from one of the reading plans.) and personal reading, but have been failing to work on my tax course. With some of our tax receipts starting to arrive, I am getting reminders to get that done!
- Move furniture and stuff in the basement. My DH came up with a plan to move a few things around in our family room, and Harrison has agreed to move the things he is responsible for (like his drum set), but that means I have to move some of my things to make that happen.
- This week's errands and to-do list includes: refilling prescriptions; phone calls I've put off; CAP and choir; church activities; getting a part to repair our bass guitar; a therapy appointment; and hopefully only a quick stop or two at the grocery store! And as I said, co-op starts this week!

Progress or Done on all but one thing. I hope you find a way to work in your tax course this week... and get most of your other goals done. I would love to bake some bread... we have been struggling with meals at our house... no one wants to cook... not even me. We have been doing to much last minute and scrounge for yourself dinners. I need to work on this, but life keeps throwing me curve balls in my health... first bronchitis, then a sore shoulder, then stomach troubles (caused by things I ate... not the flu) and now I have bronchitis again.
I am reading through Proverbs, but am a little behind, and I have YouVersion on my android.
You are doing very well on your goals. God bless and I hope you are having a great week... have a wonderful weekend!
