My more observant readers may have noticed that awhile ago there was an addition to my sidebar. It says "This blog is fueled by Cross Country Cafe" and had this delicious looking graphic:
But I haven't explained much more than that. And I should, because as a Coffee Break blog, good coffee is really important to me. This is good coffee. Extremely good!
Some time ago, Cross Country Cafe sent me a package of Donut Shop Classics Double Dipped Chocolate Coffee ($9.50) to try. My whole family (with the exception of my youngest, who is not old enough to drink coffee yet!) enjoyed this coffee for our evening treats on many occasions, and we all loved it. In fact, before I told my husband that it had been given to us to 'review', he asked me where I'd found it because he wanted me to make sure I kept it in stock! I believe his exact words were, "This is probably my favorite flavored coffee. We should always have this available." High praise indeed. My boys and I agreed with his assessment.
I've sometimes found that flavored coffees offer more in the way of aroma than actual flavor, but this one had just the right amount of chocolate flavor to make it a real treat. I normally don't add sugar to my coffee (cream only for me!), but I did try this one with cream and sugar one time and found that a bit of sweetness brought out the chocolate flavor better.
Cross Country Cafe sells coffee by the pound (ground or whole bean), in K-cup packs, and in pods. They also sell Keurig and other coffee brewers. Each week there is a Wacky Wednesday Sale on a variety of coffees, including the Keurig K-cups. Shipping is free with orders of $59 or more. This week's Wacky Wednesday Sale includes:
Donut House Collection Keurig K-cup coffee for $11.99 per box of 24
Diedrich Rio Blend Keurig K-cup coffee for $9.99 per box of 24
This one looks so good! It's described as smooth and creamy, well-balanced medium roast with hints of spice, raisins and cocoa. Makes me wish I had a Keurig, it really does.
This current sale ends on Tuesday, September 24th at midnight EST.
I'm headed over to Cross Country Cafe to restock our Double Dipped Chocolate coffee, and to try some of the Donut Shop Classics Coffee Pods. I hope you'll consider trying it too, and if you'd use my affiliate link to do so, you'll be helping fuel my coffee breaks and my homeschool. Thanks for reading!
