Scripture and a Snapshot - September 22, 2013

When they walk through the Valley of Weeping,
it will become a place of refreshing springs.
The autumn rains will clothe it with blessings.
~Psalm 84:6~

This verse is one of my favorites! I was told once that the Valley of Baca is the place where the great failure of Ai happened in the book of Joshua. Isn't it just like the Lord to take our place of failure and weeping and to make it a place of blessing and hope!

When your page popped up my first thought was "Ummm Coffee..." :) I was just wanting a cup and wishing I had picked up some decafe during my last shopping run to satisfy this late night craving.

I can see we both have a feeling for rain in our hearts. The refreshing presence of the Spirit of the Lord is making himself felt it seems.

God Bless you and thanks for visiting at Renaissance Women.

Enjoyed the beauty of an autumn rain in NYC last night. I listened from my bedside and was grateful for each drop. Your post is the second I've read referencing this scripture. I love when He connects themes in the link-ups. Have a great day!

Blessings after making it through "the valley of weeping" is encouraging, but those valleys can be hard to walk.

Jennifer, that is so true. :-( And we definitely need to love and support each other through those valleys.
