Virtual Refrigerator: Chinese Cut Paper and Calligraphy

Welcome to another edition of the Virtual Refrigerator! This weekly blog hop was started by Jennifer at A Glimpse of Our Life, and is now also co-hosted by Angels of HeartHomeschool Coffee Break, and Every Bed of Roses. We all cordially invite you to add your link sharing the art that's on your Virtual Refrigerator and then hop over to the other blogs and admire what's on their Fridges!

This is my second week on vacation, so I've pulled something out of the archives to share on the Virtual Fridge. Every time we've studied China, we've found some cool art projects to go along with our study of history and culture. Here are the things we did last time around.

Chinese cut-paper art project from the book Geography Through Art.

Kennady and Landon sketched pagodas and dragons.

It's always fun to try Chinese calligraphy. These were done with paints rather than markers. The first one is Kennady's, and I think the second one may be mine! Shame on me - I didn't sign my work! LOL

Add a link to share your child's art or your arts and crafts how-to posts, and visit the other blogs and admire what's on their Virtual Refrigerators!

Thanks to Heather at Only Passionate Curiosity, you can grab the image below and help us share about the linky.
