Scripture and a Snapshot - January 12, 2014

Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.
The wild animals honor me, the jackals and the owls,
because I provide water in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland, to give drink to my people, my chosen, the people I formed for myself
that they may proclaim my praise.
~Isaiah 43:18-21~

The owl photos are great! I took down our Christmas tree today and put away the collection of owl ornaments. The verse is a good reminder to keep stepping forward. Have a blessed Sunday! I'm visiting from Sunday Stillness.

Amazing creatures! We love owls around here, and I am so jealous you were able to get this close to them! And I love the verse!

To see so many different animals/birds that have proclaimed our Lord's praise is a treat. And I really love to see owls and so many other forms of creation that are staying with the Lord. Hopefully, more and more people will, too. Gotta count on it.
