Scripture and a Snapshot - January 19, 2014

He sends his orders to the world - how swiftly his word flies! He sends the snow like white wool; he scatters frost upon the ground like ashes. He hurls the hail like stones. Who can stand against his freezing cold? Then, at his command, it all melts. He sends his winds, and the ice thaws.
~Psalm 147:15-18~

This is the Canadian or Horseshoe Falls at Niagara Falls, Ontario. The picture was taken a couple days before Christmas 2013.

He does indeed take action - in the proper time ... never too early, or late - Thankful for God's care and guidance! Blessings to your week :)

Wow! Your picture shows that verse clearly. Were you behind a guardrail for that shot? I've never seen a waterfall surrounded by snow.

We were definitely behind a guardrail! I probably should have mentioned in the post (and I'm going to edit it now to do so) where the picture was taken. I took the picture at Niagara Falls a couple days before Christmas. That is the Canadian side, the Horseshoe Falls. :-)
