We've been trying to get back to normal in our home and our studies this week, with mixed success. The artist in residence didn't find any 'serious' art projects to work on this week, but she did spend a bit of time one evening doing this doodle as she was contemplating her costume for next week.

Do you recognize them? She posted it on Facebook with the comment that those who do know recognize them had an awesome childhood! They are Carmen Sandiego and Waldo. I think Waldo is a very well-known character, but maybe Carmen Sandiego had a more limited run of popularity. Kennady is going to dress up as Waldo next week, and we talked about me dressing up as Carmen, but wondered how many people under 18 would remember her. What do you think?
I'm hoping to have a Halloween theme craft to show on the Fridge next week, and then maybe in November we can get back to having some artist studies or projects related to geography or literature. And the holidays are coming up too! Keep coming back to see what's on my Fridge, and share your own art projects too!
