Welcome to the New Year, and a new edition of the Virtual Refrigerator! This weekly art link-up is co-hosted by Homeschool Coffee Break, Every Bed of Roses, Raventhreads, and This Day Has Great Potential. We all cordially invite you to add your link sharing the art that's on your Virtual Refrigerator and then hop over to the other blogs and admire what's on their Fridges!
The resident artist was lucky enough to get two brand-new coloring books for Christmas! And a couple of new art pads because her patron (that's me!) found a coupon and felt generous. I've also been collecting up some ideas for art projects that I hope she'll be interested in trying, so I'm looking forward to another year of sharing her work on the Virtual Refrigerator! For this week, we're showing off the new coloring books and the pages that she's started in them.
I've been thinking that maybe I need to get myself a coloring book. Or maybe a coloring calendar, because I still need a calendar by my desk. Are you in on this grown-up coloring book trend? I want in, I'm just saying. And I don't think Kennady will share with me, so I suppose I will have to get my own. To work on in all my spare time . . . ha!!

My 15 year old got some grown up color books for Christmas. She's enjoying them! I have a book of Chinese stained glass designs I got myself, and I haven't even finished the first one. Oops. I guess I'll share them with my daughters.
I decided to give it a try ... I'm actually enjoying it :) I
Love the coloring and bright pictures. Beautiful job. I have a coloring book that I enjoy but I'll admit, I have to work to make time for it. - Lori
