This week's list is a little different and fun - a list of categories and either/or questions that might spark some conversations. See details and more lists at 52 Lists at Beauty Full Slow.
I took a look at these questions and realized my challenge - I have a terrible time picking just one favorite thing; and most of the either/or choices will have an answer that starts out with "well, it depends . . ." Nevertheless, here we go!
I took a look at these questions and realized my challenge - I have a terrible time picking just one favorite thing; and most of the either/or choices will have an answer that starts out with "well, it depends . . ." Nevertheless, here we go!
Favorites:
- Favorite Color - I'm going to say blue, because I like almost every shade of blue, and it's a good go-to color for me to decorate with and to wear.
- Favorite Season - Probably autumn, although I tend to like whatever season I'm in. But I love autumn weather, it's the start of a school year, it's World Series time, and hockey season is starting, and so much more.
- Favorite Holiday - Hmmm. Christmas or Thanksgiving, tough choice.
- Favorite Flower - I have especially loved daisies (and all daisy-like flowers) and tulips for as long as I can remember.
- Favorite Bible Verse - I have many favorites. One I especially like, and a passage that came to mind as I thought about this is from Psalm 16:
Keep me safe, my God, for in you I take refuge.
I say to the LORD, "You are my LORD;
apart from you I have no good thing.
LORD, you alone are my portion and cup;
you make my lot secure.
The boundary lines have fallen for me in pleasant places;
surely I have a delightful inheritance.
I will praise the LORD, who counsels me;
even at night, my heart instructs me.
I keep my eyes always on the LORD.
With him at my right hand, I will not be shaken.
Therefore my heart is glad and my tongue rejoices;
my body also will rest secure,
You make known to me the path of life;
you will fill me with joy in your presence;
with eternal pleasures at your right hand.
Either/Or:
- Bath or Shower? I prefer a bath, but obviously a shower is so much better for washing my hair!
- Coffee, Tea, or Cocoa? Coffee, of course!
- Mountains or Beach? Mountains.
- Vintage or Modern? I more often lean towards the vintage.
- Movie or Book? Book.
- Store Bought or Homemade? Homemade.
- Meats or Veggies or Both? Meat. I'm a picky eater, and especially picky about veggies.
- Homebody or Social Butterfly? Social butterfly.
- Creature of Habit or Spur of the Moment? Oh man. This is one where I really do have to say that it's a toss-up. I sure have my routines that I can't break (coffee in the morning comes to mind!) but I also like being spontaneous.
- Picnic or Restaurant? Restaurant!
- Hugs or Kisses? Hugs.
- Early Bird or Night Owl? My natural tendency is Night Owl, but years of early rising has made me pretty comfortable being an Early Bird too.
- Boots or Sandals? Goodness, I just love shoes, so both.
- Adventurous or Cautious? Usually more adventurous.
- Comedy or Mystery? Oooh, I like both, but if I have to choose - comedy.
- Noise or Silence? Noise, if it's music.
- Inside or Outside? Inside.
- Save or Spend? Honestly, I tend to spend.
- Spicy or Mild? Medium. I love me some spicy, but my chronic heartburn says "no".

Great job! I found I wanted to explain so many of my answers too. I enjoy baths for relaxing and reading but usually take a shower for convenience and time.
I enjoyed reading your answers. I am a homeschooling mom too. Nice to meet you :)
I couldn't have guessed coffee on yours...hehe! On your extras .... night owl, barefeet with fuzzy socks, cautious, quiet, and inside (would love screen in porch) --love watching the outside without the bugs :)

I love comments! It's like visiting over a virtual cup of coffee.
