Welcome to the Virtual Refrigerator art link-up! Thank you for joining us as we share what we're creating in our homeschools. We cordially invite you to add your link sharing artwork that's on your Virtual Refrigerator and then hop over to the other blogs and admire what's on their Fridges too! The Virtual Fridge link-up is open all month.
Today I'm featuring the collection of photos we put together to display at the graduation ceremony (which is tomorrow! What?!?!). At the reception, each of the students is invited to have a display of photos or memorabilia from their school years that almost always includes a photo collage of some type on a trifold. When the boys graduated, I put together those displays because they cared less about that than I did. I won't say they didn't care, just that it wasn't as big a deal to them. Well, Kennady cares at least as much as I do, and she knew what she wanted, so for the most part I turned over the responsibility to her. Of course she came through with something beautiful and artistic.
Here's the finished trifold. When we set it up in the reception hall, it will have a couple of framed photos and small items in front.
It's time for me to hand over the reins of this art link-up and transition to being just a participant. Please say hello to the new co-hosts: Jennifer at A "Peace" of Mind and Kristin at A Mom's Quest to Teach. I'm looking forward to seeing what they'll do with the Virtual Fridge! Our current link-up is open through the end of May, so I will have an anchor post here each Wednesday until the end of the month, although I probably won't have new art to share each week.

I took pictures while it was in progress too.
It was very important to include the set of photos at the bottom of this section - the first taken when she was about five years old and too small to actually ride the Rockin' Roller Coaster at Disney, and the second one taken this past September. She remembered that pose and we made sure to recreate it!
I love that she wanted to include several goofy photos, like this one of herself and her brother, and some Snapchat filter pictures like the one below it. And one of our favorites - the photo with the skeletons!
Today Kennady is decorating her cap, and working with her Gramma on the design of her grad quilt so there will be a bit more grad-related art coming soon!

This is really awesome! Reminds me a bit of the those ads parents would take out in the public school year books but BETTER! Great memories.
What a wonderful idea! So many great memories captured and shared.
Congratulations, Kennady!
