Each week Lysha at A Camera and a Cookbook shares a set of prompts for photos. On Saturday she invites participants to share their photos in the I Spy 2021 linkup. It was tempting to just take pictures of my Christmas tree for every prompt this week, but I branched out!
- sparkles - I have these snowflakes as accents on my tree. They add some extra sparkle, but it's hard to capture in a photo!
- starts with J - a couple of the hubster's hockey jerseys
- lit - The artwork in the dome of the Chapel of the Immaculate Conception at Mount Saint Mary's University is softly illuminated.
- used - I struggled with this prompt. We have a lot of used stuff at our house, but none of it seemed appropriate for a photo! This afternoon it hit me while I was dusting downstairs. My beautiful, beat-up, upright grand piano is well-used. Lester was very used when we got him, but I had him repaired and tuned and he has served us well for the past twenty-two years or so. And as far as we can tell, he didn't suffer any damage in our flood!
- your choice - just a simple photo of the organ loft at the Chapel.
iSpy 2021 is hosted by Lysha at A Camera and a Cookbook. The idea is to challenge yourself to step out of your comfort zone and do something different with your photos. Anyone can participate by taking five new photos during the week that fit the prompts. Link up during the week and have fun!

Hi Kym, your tree is beautiful! I like all the other pics, they seem to double up, like 'lit' is in 3 of them, old is too. Lovely. CarolG
Oh, I love the photo of the organ loft. And we love our piano too! My grandma bought it in 1928 when she earned her first paycheck teaching so it's well used and well loved.
Your tree is lovely as well! I love all the glittery ornaments that catch the light on our tree as well. The jerseys are so bold and make a pretty picture.
