I Spy #54

Each week Lysha at A Camera and a Cookbook shares a set of prompts for photos. On Saturday she invites participants to share their photos in the I Spy 2022 linkup.

- selfie (quarterly shot) - :sigh: Fine. I'm getting a little more comfortable with selfies.

- outfit (quarterly shot) - So essentially two selfies in one week. I was reminded, as I figured out how to do this shot, that it's always frustrated me that the full length mirror in our room is in a really dumb place right behind the door. So there is no mirror in our house where you can see yourself full length! Maybe I'll figure out something better by next quarter, because this bugs me.

- starts with Z - I sat in the AT&T store a couple times this week and kept looking at the Z Fold and Z Flip phones and I really want one. I don't need one, but I really want one, and it does start with Z.

- between - I was about to give up on this prompt and look for something old, but as I was sitting in the dining room this evening and checking on the snow every once in awhile, I realized I was sometimes looking out between the chair spindles. Little change of perspective and here's my photo.

- your choice - Another snow photo. I like how the lamp seems to be suspended in space.

iSpy 2022 is hosted by Lysha at A Camera and a Cookbook. The idea is to challenge yourself to step out of your comfort zone and do something different with your photos. Anyone can participate by taking five new photos during the week that fit the prompts. Link up during the week and have fun!

I feel the same way about selfies; though I too am getting more comfortable with them. I often try to figure out how other bloggers take photos of their outfits (without having a camera person) and try to mimic what they do but until we bought that freestanding mirror I now use it was really hard.

I agree --selfies are hard! And yes, I need to figure out a different way to capture my outfit next quarter too. And I LOVE your "between" photo -- such a great perspective.

I know most of us hate getting in front of the camera and sometimes selfies can be the worst. There's a stretch of time there's hardly any pics of me and it makes me sad. You're beautiful. :-)
