Each week Lysha at A Camera and a Cookbook shares a set of prompts for photos. On Saturday she invites participants to share their photos in the I Spy 2022 linkup. This week's prompts really challenged me!
- work space (quarterly shot) - my classroom space at one of the co-ops.
- enclosed - I've always wished that our woodstove had a glass door so you could see the fire. I opened the solid door and took a photo of the fire that is otherwise in a completely enclosed woodstove. I'm very grateful for the warmth it provided this chilly week!
- clever - the clever design of this new cat food dish we bought is supposed to help our cats eat slower, and they have to be clever to get at all the food.
- shady - shady spots are valuable in the heat of summer and a little harder to come by and seem less desirable during the winter. We have a large stand of bamboo in the backyard so on a sunny day, there is still quite a bit of shade. It looks chilly though!
- your choice - I almost used this for "clever" because the designs of these medals are quite clever. These are The Conqueror Challenges medals I've earned so far, by logging my walking and exercising as virtual miles on interesting routes all over the world. I've virtually climbed Mount Fuji, virtually hiked to Petra, and virtually walked the Flower Route of the Netherlands. Currently I'm virtually walking the Cabot Trail in Nova Scotia, Canada. Hey, whatever helps keep me motivated! (And the Conqueror community group on Facebook is full of friendly and supportive people from all over the world, whether they are serious athletes or regular folks trying to get or stay in shape in some way.)
iSpy 2022 is hosted by Lysha at A Camera and a Cookbook. The idea is to challenge yourself to step out of your comfort zone and do something different with your photos. Anyone can participate by taking five new photos during the week that fit the prompts. Link up during the week and have fun!

Those medals are such a fun idea for keeping motivated! I like that clever cat food dish and your interpretation of enclosed. We have our woodstove going too and while it does have a glass door on the front it is often impossible to see through.
HI Kym. Your photo of the fire is fantastic. I like your cat dish, maybe something like that for humans on a diet? Congrats on the medals and your perserverance.
I'm on my third Conqueror Challenge and I LOVE them. Although I'm very far behind right now thanks to my health issues. And that photo of the fire just makes me want to sit in front of it with a hot drink and a good book.
Fire is such an amazing thing to see pictures of.
