I Spy #58

Each week Lysha at A Camera and a Cookbook shares a set of prompts for photos. On Saturday she invites participants to share their photos in the I Spy 2022 linkup. I really had to think for a couple of this week's prompts, but it was a fun challenge!

- spot in town (quarterly) - I don't live in town, but this church is in a little town I drive through on my way to work.

- starts with Y - I originally had another (boring) idea for this, but then made a point of stopping to get a photo at Y Road not too far from where we live.

- spent - I had trouble with this prompt! I took this picture last night when we got home from grocery shopping. It represents a little of the money we spent on game day provisions!

- stacked - On Friday the guys went over to a friend's to pick up firewood he'd offered us. After bringing it all here, the three of us got it all stacked neatly.

- your choice - The cemetery at the church that's my spot in town. I haven't explored this one to see how old some of the markers are, but I'd guess they go back to the early 1800s at least, since the town was founded about 1800.

iSpy 2022 is hosted by Lysha at A Camera and a Cookbook. The idea is to challenge yourself to step out of your comfort zone and do something different with your photos. Anyone can participate by taking five new photos during the week that fit the prompts. Link up during the week and have fun!

This post will also be linked at Pictorial Tuesday, hosted by Peabea Scribbles.

Beautiful photos. Hope you will explore the cemetery and then share photos of some of the headstones. Love love love the street sign. Y street? And the photo of the stacked wood. You all should keep toasty and warm. Thank you for leaving a comment on my blog so I could find you. Going to add your blog to my Feedly feed.

We don't live in town either; I had to drive to a nearby town to take my "town" photo. I love exploring old cemeteries.

We also don't live in town! Hi Kym, fancy having a Y street, how perfect is that? Great photos of the wood, I can almost smell it, and I love visiting old cemeteries too; amazing histories told. CarolG

Old cemeteries are so cool. We live across the road from one and we love walking there. Also, I love your shot of stacked wood. We spent a lot of time stacking wood at my parents this summer so I know how much work it is. And Y Road is really fun!
