Each week Lysha at A Camera and a Cookbook shares a set of prompts for photos. On Saturday she invites participants to share their photos in the I Spy 2022 linkup.
- backyard (quarterly) - It was a rather dreary week, weather-wise, and I was reluctant to take backyard photos when everything was dull and grey. But a freezing rain made for an ice coated morning, so I ventured out to see about some pictures.
- across the street - Here's the one missed from yesterday! I went out to lunch with a friend today and this house is across the street from the restaurant.
- starts with L - leaves of our bamboo coated in ice
- next - Had to sneak a peek at next month on the calendar!
- choose anything (same vantage point) - Not much changed since my last photo from this vantage point, except the sky was gloomy and grey this time.
iSpy 2022 is hosted by Lysha at A Camera and a Cookbook. The idea is to challenge yourself to step out of your comfort zone and do something different with your photos. Anyone can participate by taking five new photos during the week that fit the prompts. Link up during the week and have fun!

Those trees look so beautiful covered in ice (even if it rather annoying to have ice coating EVERYTHING!). I can't help but want to photograph it. My only change in the monthly photo this month was that my skies were gray and cloudy too!
Hope your days brighten up so you can get out more. CarolG
Oh, I hope your ice has all melted and you didn't lose any trees due to it.
Wow, look at the ice on that bamboo. What a contrast. I associate bamboo with a jungle environment. How strange to see it iced up.
Love the church photo. The trees on the right and the steeple proud and tall.
Great job with the photos! Love the across the street shot.
