April Photo Album

I haven't been writing much during the month, and have been busy with plenty of other things besides the blog. We started off with some concerts. On April 1st, we finally got to see the Blue Man Group concert - I'd purchased those tickets well over two years before, and the original date of the concert was spring of 2020. Well, we all know what happened then!

The following week, I went along with hubby and a couple of his friends to a concert I wasn't nearly as excited about - Brit Floyd. Personally, I'm not a Pink Floyd fan, but it was a date night and an interesting concert. The light show is impressive!

At home, I've been enjoying all the activity and signs of spring that can be seen from our front porch. Birds at the feeders, rabbits, kittens, and flowers.

The blue jays are now regular visitors.

Goldfinches have been hanging around the feeders.

I was super excited to spot a Baltimore Oriole at the feeder!

Spotted while shopping - evidence that someone still has a sense of humor:

The young adult group had a basket raffle at the Easter Eggstravaganza event at church.

Our Easter Sunday included breakfast at church, a great service, and our dinner was a Mediterranean style meal of lamb and beef kebabs, Greek rice, and pita and hummus.

After the delicious meal, we (meaning the hubby and I) treated Landon and Meaghan to a Hershey Bears hockey game to celebrate their one-year anniversary.

Now this month is almost over and hopefully our cold snaps are almost over as well.

My co-op classes have just a couple weeks of classes remaining, and Kennady is wrapping up most of her classes as well. The music department recital is next week, and when I went with her to her friend's senior recital we realized that Kennady's own senior recital is only a year away! How quickly the time is passing!

We are just now getting around to using up some tickets we purchased in 2020 too! It seems like you had a wonderful month with lots of fun things to look forward to.
