We spent the last few days of July visiting our son and his family in Columbus, and celebrated our anniversary at the beginning of August. After getting home from the vacation, we had a quiet couple of weeks . . .
. . . and then our second grandchild was born! A perfect and beautiful little girl named Aubrey joined the family and we are all in love.
My first time holding her - at the hospital when she was still just a few hours old.
Here she is again - ten days old!
Also this month, our other granddaughter, Veronica, started kindergarten!
And our daughter Kennady started her senior year at university!
Last First Day of School photo!
We finally got our new flooring project started in the basement. We had a flood that affected our entire basement almost one year ago, and now here we are putting in new flooring at last! We purchased all the materials last week and our friend has been here a few days installing it for us. It's a little more than halfway done, so it's time to start putting furniture back and decorating.
Sunday afternoons at Nonnie's means little Aubrey gets passed around to the grandparents, uncles and auntie. Here she is with Uncle Cer.
And chilling with Nonnie.

Great photos - thanks for sharing! Aubrey is precious!! And congrats to your senior - what to go!! I am blown away by those blooms....love them!! I think I read in a comment (maybe on Heather's post) that you live not far from Lancaster. Ah, that would be delightful - in my opinion! I just love that area. And that explains the gorgeous flowers:)
Your photos are telling a good, wonderful story. The eyes of little Aubrey are so bright and nice.
Oh my, what a beautiful baby. So pretty. Hope they have a great school year. Wow on the flowers.
