Weekly Wrap-Up: In Which We Continue to Get Rain...

Homeschool:  Just another week of same-old, same-old, although I guess we're starting to see the end in sight.  We finished off another unit in the Science book - just one left now! - and everyone is inching closer to the end of their Math and Language Arts for the year.  Well... Kennady may have a challenge to finish her math book by the end of the year, but I'm not concerned because she didn't start that one till mid-year.  One Science experiment we did this week compared fresh water and seawater density.

In Other News: We had a lot of rain on Saturday, which resulted in some minor flooding in our area through Sunday. We had to detour a couple of times on our way to church! I took a walk with Kennady that afternoon and got quite a few pictures.  I posted quite a few in "A Waterlogged Photojournal" on my other blog. There was more rain off and on through the week, and all three of Kennady's softball games were cancelled because of it. The dandelions on our yard literally sprang up overnight though - it was just green grass on Wednesday evening and on Thursday morning I opened my blinds to see yellow polka-dots everywhere!

On Friday evening we had the privilege of attending Good Friday service at our own church.  The past few years our church has been part of a joint service in town, but this year we held our own service.  Very simple, but meaningful.
