There is snow on the ground outside my window today. Not a lot, but it's pretty. Not near as much as we got a few years ago (2009-2010). We referred to that winter as Snowmageddon. LOL
That's a fair amount of snow for Maryland!
It was thigh-deep for Kennady. LOL
"What happened to the bird feeder? I was sure it was here yesterday..."
After a day or two, the sun came out.
And the kids found a new way to use the trampoline!
That was in December, during the week before Christmas. In January, we got more snow!
We lost two-thirds of that tree. It was a favorite nest site for the mockingbirds too.
And we weren't done yet, because there was another big snow in February, and we wanted to watch hockey, so I had to blaze a trail through the snow to knock all the ice off the satellite dish.
Pretty sure this made me Hockey Wife of the Year.
Still more...
Snowplows wouldn't be coming to our area for quite awhile, and most of the state was shut down under a "snow emergency". But DH works at a greenhouse, and those plants need to be taken care of - snow emergency or not. Fortunately we and the owner both live close by, and the owner has a tractor. So that was DH's ride to work that day!
This is our ROAD. Not the driveway. LOL
I think that's Landon waist-deep after a stumble.
After the plow finally came, we took out the yardstick to see how high the snow was piled up. Hmmmm....
Had to make sure we could still get the mail.
That was a great winter!

Love the bird... I have a bird in my snow pictures too but yours came out much better. My bird would not stay still! lol. My favorite shots are the bird, the trampoline (love, love it!), the trail blazed through the snow, and the sunset photo. Thanks so much for participating and linking up.
