And suddenly, there appeared with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying,
"Glory to God in the highest,
And on earth peace among men with whom he is pleased."

Angels we have heard on high
Sweetly singing o'er the plain.
And the mountains in reply
Echo back their joyous strain.
Shepherds, why this jubilee?
Why your joyous strains prolong?
What the gladsome tidings be
Which inspire your heavenly song?
Come to Bethlehem and see
Him whose birth the angels sing
Come adore on bended knee
Christ our Lord, the new born King.

Today I taught our 3-4 year old class at church, our first Christmas lesson. We talked about how the angels announced the birth of Christ. Thanks for linking up to The Weekend Brew!
