Scripture and a Snapshot - December 15, 2013

For a child will be born to us,
a son will be given to us;
And the government will rest on His shoulders;
And His name will be called Wonderful Counselor,
Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace.
~Isaiah 9:6~

And suddenly there appeared with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying,
"Glory to God in the highest,
And on earth peace among men with whom He is pleased."
~Luke 2:13-14~

Hark the herald angels sing
Glory to the newborn king
Peace on earth and mercy mild
God and sinners reconciled
Joyful all ye nations rise
Join the triumph of the skies
With angelic hosts proclaim
Christ is born in Bethlehem
Hark the herald angels sing
Glory to the newborn king

I wish I could have heard the angels sing on that day. Makes me think of what heaven will be like, when we finally see Him face to face. Thanks for linking up with The Weekend Brew!
