May he grant your heart's desires and make all your plans succeed. May we shout for joy when we hear of your victory and raise a victory banner in the name of our God. May the Lord answer all your prayers.
~Psalm 20:4-5~
There have been many victories to celebrate during the Olympic games. I pray that many of those celebrations honored God and that his name was lifted up among the nations gathered in Sochi.

I can only watch the Winter Olympics in small doses....I am more of a summer, equestrian fan. Now I am starting to feel like I shoulda done a whole unit study thing...thanks Kym! Just kidding. I enjoy your blog.-Sandy
I'm enjoying the Olympics as well and hoping God is glorified there. Love that you include a Canadian flag! (I'm Canadian) : ) Looking forward to the hockey game tomorrow!
I also love the verse you highlighted... "I will not fail you or abandon you." His promises are so encouraging. God bless.
I'm visiting from the Sunday Stillness link-up.
Visiting from Barbie's. I enjoyed your sweet photo!
Can you believe I haven't watched much of the Olympics? I have been so busy. Thanks for linking up with The Weekend Brew!
What a wonderful post!
Celebrating with you [another Canadian reader here] =)
Blessings !

I am your neighbour today from Scripture and Snapshot. Lovely to see the Canadian and US flag flying together. I love the snow in the air - great shot. I haven't seen too much of the Olympics but praying as you do that our athletes showed Christ in their actions, and connections.
Blessings,
Janis
Thank you all for visiting, and for your kind comments. Nice to see a couple of Canadian readers here - my hubby and I are originally from Canada, so when it comes to the Olympics, that's still who we are cheering for!
What fun in the snow, and what a beautiful prayer. Yes, may God's name be lifted up among the nations.
