June's Art Challenge: Rainbows
After April shower and May flowers, we'll be looking for artwork that features Rainbows! Please continue to share any art posts on our Virtual Fridge - we love seeing all of them!
As I said last week, the resident artist here needed some new supplies and was delighted to get them. She has been doing a lot of doodling with the new markers, and just having fun with them. She made this title page and tried to get a sort of tie-dye look with the oranges and yellows.
And then there was this doodle.
Then she remembered that I had said the Virtual Refrigerator theme was rainbows. Unfortunately, there is no purple marker in the package, so she showed me this:
Too funny.
Today we are going to visit an art museum, so check back for our field trip pictures and report on that - and maybe for some freshly inspired artwork!

What a lovely display of colour! And such a simple idea, great for rainy days or shady sunshine filled afternoons!
