In our homeschool . . .  Really not much at all this week. I wasn't home to crack the whip on Monday, and we've been taking it easy anyway. Most days Kennady did spend at least a bit of time on geography,  The Power in Your Hands, or CTC Math. We're reviewing those two products this summer, as well as Beric the Briton from Heirloom Audio Productions.

In other news . . . Super Saturdays don't work that great for us any more, since I am working on Saturdays, but this past week there was no hockey for the hubster on Sunday evening, so we did Super Sunday instead. The three of us (hubster and Kennady and me) went mini-golfing in Gettysburg, and then enjoyed junk food and ice cream at Dairy Queen. We hadn't been to a DQ in simply ages, so it was quite a treat! By the way, we are turrible at mini-golf. Just turrible, as Sir Charles would say! Also. My phone has decided it doesn't like sending pictures to my computer any more, so I can't share the couple of pictures I took. So weird.

On Monday I attended a District Conference for our church, so I was away most of the day. Landon was on a work trip all day - deep sea fishing! He had a great time, and brought home some fresh caught mahi-mahi and tuna as his share of the day's haul. We had Maple Cajun Mahi-mahi for dinner on Tuesday - delicious!

The boys left early on Wednesday morning to head for Creation with the group from church, so it's been a little quieter here this week. Well, maybe not that much quieter, since the two boys Kennady is watching for the summer spent the days with us!

And today is Canada Day! Kennady is planning to have a friend over tonight, but we haven't even discussed what she wants for her birthday dinner. LOL
