How is your summer going? Exactly as planned, right?! Yeah, ours too. Speaking of planning, that's what I'm working on this week, getting ready for the start of school in September. In the past, we've often started our school year around the second week of August, but this year we will start right after Labor Day since we are planning a vacation for the very end of August.
So on the agenda for the next week or two will be making sure I have Lesson Plans entered in the Homeschool Tracker Online, cleaning up all the books we are finished with and hopefully passing many of them along to others, cleaning and organizing our desks and bookshelves, and choosing a School Scripture for the upcoming year. Ideally, of course I'd like Kennady to be completely finished with the things we're still working on that were officially on last year's report card!
Next week I plan on unveiling our curriculum line-up for the year and some details about our planning process, as well as the School Scripture.
When does your school year start? Or are you working through the summer, like we are? Link up your posts about homeschooling high school here - I'd love to see what you are working on! Also, please visit your neighbors and leave some encouraging comments!
If you're homeschooling through high school and have not yet joined the Blog Roll, please take a moment to do that as well.
From the High School Lesson Book will be here on Mondays from now on. During the summer I will keep it short depending on what else we're doing, but I'd like to continue to connect with other homeschool bloggers with high school students through this link-up and the blog roll.
