Welcome to the Virtual Refrigerator art link-up! Thank you for joining us as we share what we're creating in our homeschools. We cordially invite you to add your link sharing artwork that's on your Virtual Refrigerator and then hop over to the other blogs and admire what's on their Fridges too! The Virtual Fridge link-up is open all month, with anchor posts planned for each Wednesday.

Kennady is taking some classes in a high school co-op again this year, one of which is American History. (And I'm teaching that one!) The assignment due in last week's History class was some type of presentation urging fellow colonists of the mid-1700s to boycott British goods. One of the choices for presentation was a poster or handbill. Kennady chose to do the poster. Thanks to our vacation, she had a very short time to get it done when we got home, but although she hurried through it, I thought it was still fun and conveyed the message of the assignment.

Boycott British Goods, poster by Kat, October 2018

A couple of other students did handbill style posters. I liked how these both look like they've been torn off a telephone pole! And the burnt edges of the first one to make it look aged are great too.
