We've had a couple weeks of being very busy, being on vacation, and being at camp, so there's no new art this week. So here's the most recent art, and a look back at this week's Virtual Fridge posts from past years.

Last week I shared a bridal shower gift Kennady made for a very dear friend of hers.

And when I looked back in the archives, I found a couple other art pieces that were done as gifts. A grad gift for a very good friend from last year . . .

. . . and a birthday gift for yet another close friend the year before that.

And how about these cheerful pieces from previous years:

Those last two projects were ideas from the book Geography Through Art which was a favorite in our homeschool. It's a combination of cultural geography information and art projects inspired by different cultures and folk art from around the world. (See my post My Favorite Geography Resource for more details.)

Another great resource for art projects from around the world is Achieving Art Success with ArtAchieve on SchoolhouseTeachers.com. The entire collection of lessons from ArtAchieve  is available to members on the site until August of 2019. There are lots of other art instruction resources on the SchoolhouseTeachers.com Art page too! And curriculum and resources for every subject in your homeschool as well. Sign up using the June coupon code FIREFLY and get your first month for just $5. (This offer ends June 28th!)

I love the sloth! So cute. I need to show my teen these pieces...maybe I could entice him to make some of his own for the house.
