Our wedding anniversary is right at the beginning of August, and this year we were able to celebrate with a long weekend trip to the mountains in Pennsylvania. The trip started in July, but the photos are here anyway. (A bunch more photos are in A Pennsylvania Mountains PhotoJournal)
We visited the Grand Canyon of Pennsylvania -
browsed antiques and other shops -
enjoyed scenery and interesting sights -
did some stargazing at Cherry Springs dark sky park (although obviously I'm not set up to take photos of stars!) -
and watched for elk in wilderness areas.
Back home again, the rest of the month was quiet and full of local walks, work, church, and getting ready for school (such as it is!) to start.
Just for fun:
I wanted to include an updated "Lockdown Tally" of toilet paper rolls, but I didn't get a photo. My husband says I need to stop, but I think it's funny.

We're next door to PA, but I've never actually visited there so this was interesting to see. Love the views. Thanks for sharing.
Beautiful photos as always.
