One word. Five minutes to write about it. This is the idea behind Five Minute Friday and this is today's free-writing post.
it could happen
could have, would have, should have
********************
It could happen! I like to say it sometimes when we're dreaming or wishing for something good we'd like. Something that seems out of reach or too good to be true. Just wishful thinking.
But what if it really could happen? If we really want something, is there something we could or should be doing to make it happen? Or at least increase the chances of it happening!
A brand new car appearing in my driveway - it could happen! It could, but it's not very likely. But if we plan and budget and shop carefully, it's very likely that we could purchase a new-to-us vehicle that would solve our transportation dilemmas.
A beautifully decorated, picture-perfect house - it could happen! It could, but since it's unlikely it would just be handed to us, I could work on the updates and organization I'd like in the house we already have. Make the picture in my imagination a reality by doing the cleaning and organizing and redecorating that would make our home even more comfortable and beautiful.
Dreaming about what could happen can be a step towards solving problems and making things better. If we move from just dreaming about what could happen to working on the things we could do to reach those goals.
Dream in a pragmatic way.

Yes I love this, there are lots of things that 'could' become a reality - if we respond and take action! fmf#11
Ok, I'm a little amazed by your two examples because I have seen God work through both of those purchases (our home and a car). The shorter, and more amazing of the two stories: God made a way for my family to buy a house well within our budget and well below market. He is faithful beyond our imagination.

I am always dreaming too. God is the God of the impossible, constantly dreaming of miracles x fmf #4
This is a great post! It's good to dream, but there's also a point when we have to take action to turn our dreams into reality.
