September Photo Album

We had such high hopes for September! Back to school and college, back to sort-of-normal, and some fun things planned too. Well, it didn't always go quite as we'd hoped, but it has still been a very good month overall. The homeschool co-op where I teach opened on time with in-person classes, and mostly normal. Kennady started her second year of college with a couple of classes meeting in person but most classes online. We were able to get away for the Labour Day weekend and see our son and his family. And we're doing our best to settle into a workable routine for the fall.

First day of school!

Back home again . . .

The things you see at the grocery store. I guess they don't allow large pets?

We are holding two church services each week, one outside (no masks), and one inside.

The young emus down the end of our road are pretty friendly, and will come over to greet us when we walk by.

With the arrival of fall, I had to clear my toilet paper roll countdown calendar in preparation for actually using the heater. For fun we'd been leaving the empty rolls as a kind of tally of how many weeks in the "fourteen days to flatten the curve".  It's been a lot more than fourteen days.

Happy Fall!

Looks like some fun times. Sounds nice that school is going well so far. Has to be hard for teachers and students with this virus hanging over their hands. Great photos.
