I Spy #40

Each week Lysha at A Camera and a Cookbook shares a set of prompts for photos. On Saturday she invites participants to share their photos in the I Spy 2021 linkup. This week's photos weren't as easy as I'd expected, but often it was because I forgot what to watch for!

- wet - The photo didn't turn out as well as I would have liked, but this spider web was outlined in droplets of water after a drizzly morning.

- numbers - Numbers on my calendar with fun vintage looking coffee ads.

- children's book - I don't have very many children's books sitting out at my house. I keep a basket full of books and toys for when my granddaughter is here, but it was put away. I have these favorite childhood books in one of my living room bookshelves though - the Little House series and some Louisa May Alcott and L.M. Montgomery titles.

- favorite - We had a houseful of friends and family yesterday to celebrate Thanksgiving (Canadian style!). A couple favorite Canadian desserts were very popular - including these butter tarts, which are a particular favorite of mine!

- your choice - I chose this simple photo out of the few I took this week, because it represents my dining room starting to look put together again, after weeks of looking cluttered or "under construction"  during remodeling and then post-basement-flood chaos.

iSpy 2021 is hosted by Lysha at A Camera and a Cookbook. The idea is to challenge yourself to step out of your comfort zone and do something different with your photos. Anyone can participate by taking five new photos during the week that fit the prompts. Link up during the week and have fun!

A great sider web pic, I love how the droplets collect at the intersections of the web. Isn't it a great feeling when your house gets back together again? Well done. CarolG

Another gorgeous spider web. I love when the droplets collect on them. Very nice looking dining room. Our dining room is kind of disheveled right now because we're trying to figure out what color to paint it and I'm ready to make progress on it.
